Google Will Earn $15 on Each Nexus 7 Tablet

Google's first tablet was bound to rouse the interest of analysts across the globe, as well as appeal to consumers. Google announced price of nexus 7 on UK that is $199. The $199 price tag will certainly make it competitive but is Google going to make enough profit from each sale to be worth their while?

According to Research firm UBM TechInsights Profit is below in table:

Company name
Estimate Profit
Google
$15 per Nexus 7 Tablet
Amazon
$46 per Kindle Fire
Apple
$170 per iPad

Google is expected to launch the Nexus 7 tablet within a couple of weeks. Be sure to check out our hands-on review later this evening for a full evaluation.

Google is paying more for the hardware, which correlates reasonably with the list of features that are more advanced than either the Amazon or Barnes & Noble's devices. More expensive components, potentially a better customer experience, and you pave the way for stealing a decent share in the tablet market.
Combine this with a name like Google, and you may be betting on the winning horse.
